4 New Movies You Probably Have Not Heard About!

I Am Legend 2: Warner’s huge Christmas 2007 hit ($584,015,734 and counting) could also have a follow up, although it’d be interesting to see if any of the characters from the previous movie signed onto it. It would be interesting to get more of a story about what happened to set these things in motion. Richard Matheson. A 2010 release date is also being mooted for this one. I suppose I could give you guys some links to stay updated with the latest news…I wish I had more but no one is returning my calls. I suppose considering Will Smith dies in the first one will mean that he wont be coming back in the second film. I just hope that this one can pale in comparison to the first movie. If not, there are going to be a lot of pissed off fans. I understand that when you make a large sum of money on a film, you want to be able to do that again, but creating a sequel to this film???? I don’t know, it just does not seem right. This better not be one of those straight to DVD performances…I will kill. War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave: Another straight to DVD sequel, but this one’s of note because it’s directed by Soul Man/Hitcher star C Thomas Howell. Blimey. This movie is a sequel to the Sci-fi Original War of the Worlds. Its another Asylum films stinker in my opinion. If you watched the first one on Sci-Fi then you would understand what I am talking about. I am not saying that the Tom Cruise version of this movie was any better, just saying that they could have spent a little more money on graphics and acting school. I do recommend you watch the first one at some point that came out in 2005…in my opinion its better than the Hollywood/Cruise version, but is still not what I would consider a “must see movie.” At first I thought this was some kind of video game (which I wouldnt be surprised if thats what it becomes) but it really is a movie. Now I owe a guy 10 dollars…great. And what did I get for it? A crap movie. Anyways, some of you might like it…and if you enjoy Sci-Fi channel productions then this will definitely be your cup of tea.

Super Troopers 2: Introducing a hair-raising prequel idea for the clueless cops, 33-year-old Lemme revealed a second plotline they might instead indulge. “We have [another] idea to go back to 1977 and play our dads,” he grinned. “We’d have a whole bunch of new stories, where we have bigger mustaches and hot rods.” In addition to the sequel/prequel, the gang is also looking to bring “The Greek Road” to the theaters, which as Lemme explains is about… “Ancient Greeks in the original buddy movie: Socrates and Plato. Kevin plays Plato, who is the freshman phenom wrestler, but he’s so stupid that he is failing his classes. So, they bring Socrates in — who I play — and then we go [on] a road trip to the Olympics. Hilarious!” While they are producing a few things, they are planning to act in a film called “Slammin’ Salmon.” “We play waiters in a restaurant owned by a guy who is basically a Mike Tyson character, the heavyweight champ.” They idea is to do a proper, five-member movie within the next year. Lemme, meanwhile is making plans to direct a separate quasi-”Troopers” spin-off. “I might direct something called ‘Run for the Border,’ which actually stars the three stoners from ‘Super Troopers,’” Lemme revealed. “They try to pose as Mexicans to gain some employment, they get deported to Mexico and they have to try to get back across the border.” I know there are going to be a lot of you guys eagerly awaiting its arrival because this is quite possibly the greatest movie to watch while intoxicated so here are some great sites to keep up with everything going on in this movie:

Beverly Hills Cop 4: If Die Hard can still do it at the box office, why can’t Axel Foley? Er, because the third BHC movie was crap, and a flop. Still, it’s not stopped development work going ahead on number four. I love Eddie Murphy just as much as the next person but this dude is getting old. I mean Harrison Ford can pull it off but can this dude??? He was a hit sensation from day one with his first movie 48 Hrs but I just dont know if he is going to be able to handle this kind of action at his age…there was a lot of different types of action stunts that he used to do himself sometimes…he wont be doing any of that anymore I guarantee you that. On top of all of this, I thought that he went all family oriented on us??? He hasnt done anything remotely Rated R in almost 10 years now. Thats a decade of kiddy movies and now you are telling me that he is going to be cussing, and shooting, and screaming??? This is definately going to be an interesting if not a little entertaining as always is with Murphy. I have to say that I miss Axel Foley but I have also heard that Judge Reinhold might not be joining the group for this one. In my opinion this movie will not be a success without him. The writers have written a total of 8 movies between them in the time between the BHC movies. I hope that this is a success but everything is riding against them, thats for certain.
