Surrogates (2009)

I have to admit that when I first heard this was coming out, I was more excited than I have been about most movies this year.  It takes place in the future when the world is a totally different place.  People have become dependent on machines.  Humans are able to live their lives through a robot.  While they lay in a chair, their robot (surrogate which is make to their liking) lives their life but fully controlled by the human.  To me, it seems like the writers wanted to show everyone what life could be life if we keep spending all our time online.  Anyways so surrogates end up getting murdered in the movie but the catch is that their users are dying also.  Bruce Willis uses his surrogate for a while and then has to do it all by himself.  Dealing with memories of the past, he sets out to conquer his fears and stop a murder.  Its not exactly a chick flick but if you enjoyed I, Robot you will certainly enjoy this movie.
