The Incredible Hulk (2008)

I was laying down last night trying to figure out which movie I wanted to fall asleep to.  I was scrolling through my collection when I came across The Incredible Hulk.  This movie just came out in the United States and is number 1 in the box office as of today.  I don’t know how I really feel about Edward Norton being the Hulk, but he does a good job of it.  Neither Eric Bana or Jennifer Connelly were in it so it lost a few brownie points there.  It’s a very action packed film that in my opinion crosses between two movies.  The first movie is the Bourne series…all 3 of them of course.  In the beginning of the movie there is a chase scene that was pulled straight off of Robert Ludlum’s books.  All in all it was a very action packed good movie. There is a fight scene between two genetically mutated hulks, the good Hulk and the bad one. Iron man makes an appearance at the end of the film which is kind of cool. I don’t think the plot is all that great but if you are a big action movie buff then this is definitely your movie for the summer. The transformations have better graphics in this movie.

I don’t know how I feel about the whole love scene stuff…I mean I understand that in all movies there must be hints of love to make it seem real, but is it really real? Is a love story going to make it any more real than the chase scenes, or the science behind it all? Basically Dr. Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) is trying to find a cure for his problem (getting angry and becoming the Hulk). Throughout the movie, he runs from the police, takes on the military head on, and fights “evil” Hulk all in what takes place over 3 months or so. Pretty crazy, but very worth the ticket price. You can download it free from demonoid also. Its pretty decent quality; Audio – 6 Video – 7.
