Everyone remembers Yogi Bear from back in the day right?  The 60′s cartoon has been around forever captivating our youth (including me) at times and just setting an overall example as to how everyone should live and the consequences of our actions.  If you were an adult then it was just a funny cartoon that you got to see every week.  It then spawned off into all kinds of TV shows and guest appearances.  The point is that this is a classic story which for the most part remains true to this movie.  Please do not worry either because we all know Boo-Boo is still in it!  I don’t know how you should feel about Justin Timberlake playing the part though.  Maybe you should just close your eyes and take a chance for once.  You might be surprised as to how intrigued you actually are by this movie.

Here is a synopsis: A young Carl Fredrickson meets a young adventure spirited girl named Ellie. They both dream of going to a Lost Land in South America. 70 years later, Ellie has died. Carl remembers the promise he made to her. Then, when he inadvertently hits a construction worker, he is forced to go to a retirement home. But before they can take him, he and his house fly away. • Scrooge McDuck – Donald Duck’s wealthy uncle, Scrooge McDuck. He is a millionaire who has many businesses all over the world, from oil companies to factories. He takes care of his three newphews when their Uncle Donald enlists in the Navy.
• Huey, Duey, Louie – Scrooge takes care of his three Nephews after their Uncle Donalds joins the Navy. Being identical triplets, Huey, Dewey and Louie are impossible to tell apart, except by the colors they wear, and historically, red for Huey, blue for Dewey and green for Louie. At first they disturb Scrooge whilst he is working and irritate him to the point that the nephews overhear him telling Mrs. Beakly that they are too much trouble. As a result, they decide to leave, and end up running into the Beagle Boys who are planning to steal Scrooge’s money. The triplets end up saving Scrooge’s money and proving they’re worth to their Uncle. They may seem like trouble, but they are always there for Scrooge when the chips are down.
• Launchpad McQuack – Scrooge’s pilot Launchpad is somewhat disaster-prone. Launchpad is mistaken for a spy, in Double-O-Duck. He comes from good stock as his whole family trains and
• Gyro Gearloose – Duckburg’s greatest inventor. Scrooge often calls opon Gyro when the Beagle Boys try and break into his money bin, although Gyro’s ideas often backfire and he ends up aiding the Beagle Boys.
• Mrs. Beakly – Mrs. Beakley is the only one who can tolerate Huey, Dewey and Louie’s bad behaviour and exert some level of control over it. She is hired by Scrooge as the nanny and stays at the McDuck mansion with her Grand-daughter Webby. She agrees with Scrooge to work for room and board for her grand-daughter and herself.
• Webber Vanderquack – Mrs. Beakley’s grand-daughter Webby, lives with Mrs. Beakly at the McDuck Mansion. At first, Scrooge’s nephews don’t welcome her, and play pranks on her. Webby often follows the boys around Duckburg getting into trouble on the way. Webby is warm hearted and sweet.
  
• Bubba – A caveduck Scrooge meet when he accidentally traveled into the past. As Scrooge was departing to return to the future, Bubba and his pet triceratops, Tootsie stole away on the time machine. Ever since then, Bubba has been a part of Scrooge’s family.

At first, DuckTales was intended as a 1-hour network series. However, when Bob Jacquemin, head of the studio’s newly formed syndication unit, learned of the series, he realized that it had the potential to be his first hit. After immense internal lobbying, Jacquemin convinced Michael Einser to let him have DuckTales, and in doing so, he virtually reinvented television animation.

One of the first decisions he announced was that Donald Duck would play a minor role in the series, for the emphasis this time was going to be on Uncle Scrooge and his three nephews. To explain Donald’s absence, the writers had him enlist in the Navy after leaving his nephews with Scrooge. The studio also created some new additions to the Disney stable. Among these were Launchpad McQuack, Mrs. Beakley, Webbigail (Webby) Vanderquack, Doofus, Duckworth, Fenton Crackshell, and Bubba Duck.

87 episodes were orginally aired, 100 in total if you count the special episodes: Treasure of the Golden Suns, Time Is Money and Super DuckTales that were later split into 30 minute shows.

What if mankind had to leave Earth, and somebody forgot to turn the last robot off? After hundreds of lonely years of doing what he was built for, WALL*E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class) discovers a new purpose in life (besides collecting knick-knacks) when he meets a sleek search robot named EVE. EVE comes to realize that WALL*E has inadvertently stumbled upon the key to the planet’s future, and races back to space to report her findings to the humans (who have been eagerly awaiting word that it is safe to return home). Meanwhile, WALL*E chases EVE across the galaxy and sets an adventure into motion. Joining WALL*E on his journey across the universe is a cast of characters including a pet cockroach and a heroic team of malfunctioning misfit robots.

The year is 2700. WALL•E, a robot, spends every day doing what he was made for. But soon, he will discover what he was meant for. From Academy Award®-winning director, Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo), WALL•E is the story of one robot’s comic adventures as he chases his dream across the galaxy. I think this may be Pixar’s most interesting film yet. Wall-E will hit movie theaters on June 27th, 2008.

Full Synopsis

Hermes Conrad does a roll call of the Planet Express crew. Unfortunately, after completing it Professor Farnsworth immediately fires them – it turns out the main delivery network, the Box Network (a thinly veiled stab at the Fox Network), canceled their contract two years ago. However, a regime change suddenly occurs and the crew’s jobs are reinstated. The Professor also delightfully describes how the network executives were also painfully killed, crushed and turned into an all purpose powder.

The crew celebrate with music and limbo dancing. Hermes, boasting of his own abilities, shows off by limboing underneath a razor sharp sword. Basking in his success, he is almost immediately decapitated by another sword, and his headless body finds itself crushed underneath the Planet Express ship. While his body is being repaired, Hermes is forced to live as a head in a jar, and his wife LaBarbara leaves him for her ex-husband Barbados Slim. Meanwhile Leela hits it off with a head museum employee named Lars, much to Fry’s chagrin.

At their first delivery to the Nude Beach Planet, Fry is surprised to learn that he has a tattoo of Bender on his buttocks. Meanwhile, Bender, Amy and Leela sign seemingly innocuous petitions for three alien nudists. In the process they give them their email addresses, eventually swamping everyone at Planet Express with spam. The Professor is caught unawares by a lottery scam and soon discovers that the aliens have taken control of Planet Express. Bender is also infected by an obedience virus planted by the aliens, and does their bidding.

The aliens, who have the ability to sniff out information, discover Fry’s tattoo and realize it contains a binary password that allows them to conjure up a sphere that allows them to travel back in time. Although Nibbler and the Nibblonians try to stop them, as any use of the sphere could tear apart the fabric of space, they are quickly defeated and the aliens use Bender to go back in time to steal the treasures of the past. They also discover that while temporal doubles are created when two or more of the same person exist in the same time, the double is ultimately doomed to prevent a potential paradox from occurring.

As the aliens continue to steal from the past and scam the rest of Earth, Leela and Lars’ relationship builds and eventually he proposes marriage. Heartbroken, Fry discovers that, after having stolen all the world’s treasures, the aliens want to kill him to destroy the tattoo, so he goes back to the year 2000 to both escape them and his memories of Leela. However Bender is sent back to kill him.

Where can I find this Flick?

In a series of events, Fry returns to the 31st century by freezing himself while his temporal double, created after another time travel trip, stays on in the 21st century. The double ends up befriending a Narwhal and becomes a marine biologist, but is apparently killed by Bender when his apartment explodes in 2012. Meanwhile the original Fry gets rid of the tattoo and plans to disrupt Leela’s wedding to Lars. Although his plan does not work, Lars ends up canceling the wedding anyway after witnessing Hermes’ new body (whom he had stolen from his own temporal double) mangling itself again.

Eventually the aliens take over the Earth and evict everyone to Neptune. There, the crew teams up with Robot Santa and Zapp Brannigan to retake the Earth. A space battle ensures, and the aliens are destroyed by one of the Professor’s doomsday weapons. Fry, realizing that Leela and Lars should be with each other, gets them to reconcile..

Unfortunately the reunion is short lived when a surviving alien confronts the trio, and Lars sacrifices himself to save Leela and Fry. His video will reveals that Lars is actually Fry’s temporal double who stayed on in the 21st century. It is revealed that the explosion which supposedly killed him just burned off his hair and changed his voice into Lars. Knowing that they will get together in the future, he freezes himself until the 31st century and gets a job as a feeder at the head museum, where he’ll meet Leela. Unfortunately, after witnessing the fate of Hermes’ temporal double’s body he realizes that he too is doomed and called off the wedding.

After bidding Lars farewell at his funeral, Bender has to make one last trip back in time to 1999 to put the tattoo on Fry and set everything right. Unfortunately he discovers the many temporal doubles of himself, who almost immediately begin self destructing, causing a large rip in the fabric of space.
