uTorrent – Gateway to Torrents

So I realize that if you have never downloaded torrent files, you have probably never figured out how to get the movies from the various sites that I link to. I have decided to hook you up with the program that will save your life. If you are downloading the movies without this program you are probably getting less than adequate speeds but with uTorrent, your downloads will be as fast as your internet will allow.

System Requirements? There basically are none if you ask me. Unless you are living in ths stoned ages, this will not be a problem. It works on everything from Windows 95 on a 486 to Windows Vista 64 bit. I am not sure about Windows 7 yet, but I am sure you can get it to work if you run it as administrator. If you have any problems with it you can either email me or go to their help forums. This is not just a windows program as it works with almost all forms of Linux, OSX (minus Darwine), and other operating systems.

Updating the Blog again!

I am sure that you have noticed a lot of changes to Fetchblog in the past few weeks. I have been out of town but have done some soul searching and have decided to stick with this theme for a while. I hope you get some enjoyment on the way that it is set up, because I will be adding things to the site from here. I do not think the physical look will change much over the next couple of years, but I will be slowly adding new ideas to the site. If you have any questions, comments, or ideas please feel free to let me know by sending me an email to fetchblog @ gmail dot com.

Some of the great ideas for the site have come from you guys. I really appreciate all the support I have been getting from the Blue Meep and others who have been there through the best of times and the worst of times. Keep up the great work guys. The Coolest New Social Network – The New Kid on the Block

So I was looking around the other day and I stumbled across one of the greatest social networking ideas that I have ever seen. Of course if you are like me then you love movies and you hate having to buy them all the time. I have spent more through my cable on demand than I spend on Alcohol. What does that tell you? I am getting ripped off. If you are on the internet ever then I am sure you have seen Hulu.com or whatever and you know that there are sites out there that allow you to watch regular television shows. On MoviesPlanet.com you can also watch movies online without the commercials though. Its a social network in which you can instant message people who are online also. With over 200,000 members you can tell that its still a work in progress and will eventually have the millions that LiveJournal, Xanga, Myspace, Facebook and Orkut users have, but with so much more. Think of it like a cross-breed of YouTube and Facebook. You can get the latest movie news and they also have a great Forum where you can get the opinions of others on movies that you may have not seen yet. I guarentee you that if you start using this site you will never have to watch a bad movie again. I used to use IMDB when I was younger to decide whether or not movies are worth going to see or not, but now I use MoviesPlanet. With over 40,000 movies already uploaded you are almost guarenteed to find the movie you seek. If you find a movie that may not work on your computer because you dont have the proper video software (believe me, we have all been there before), dont fret because they have all the video software you need and you can download it directly from their website. If you dont believe me, at least check out their newest commercial!

Junophiles Unite!

I know there are a lot of Junophiles out there because of the recent posts about one of the greatest movies ever made Juno. Well now they have made things even better by coming out with a 2-Disc CD set with new music fromt he Motion Picture. You can listen to Music from Juno on Yahoo radio or you can just buy it from Rhino which is pretty much the coolest place on the internet. I know you have seen the movie because you would not be on my blog right now if you didnt watch movies, but if you loved the movie then you are going to love the Juno Soundtrack. The Juno Movie Soundtrack was a top seller on FindFreeMusic.org for 3 months straight. If you are looking for a Christmas present, this is definately a great option. I know my brother is looking to get some CD’s for Christmas and you can bet that he will have the Juno Soundtrack in his stalking. You get a plethera of choices with everything from Buddy Holly to The Kinks. I think my favorite song on the entire CD is by Yo La Tengo called, “You Can Have It All.” Whether or not you decide to get this CD, its up to you, but what I think is great about it, is that it has stuff by Ellen Page, the star of the movie, and its pretty funny stuff. I think that right there should sell this product to you, and if it doesnt then just step off this blog and go somewhere else.

Best Site for WordPress Templates!

I have been using wordpress for years now and I have to tell you that its gotta be the best software out there. One of the great things about WordPress is that they have amazing customizable templates all over the internet. The best of those sites is at WordPress Templates. WordPressTemplates.com has great templates from their front page to 75 pages into the website. They have templates ranging from Animal Themes to Weight Loss themes. One thing that caught my eye when I first went there was the pictures in the backgrounds of these templates are amazing. I mean obviously I didn’t like all of them, but they were all crisp and very beautiful. I recommend this site for WordPress Templates.

Cliffside Malibu – Celebrity Resting Place Reviewed

I am updating the site for the first time in a while today. A lot has changed since my last post and my life has gone in a weird direction. I now understand why some people have a problem with an addiction to drugs or alcohol. If you know anyone who has a problem with alcohol, drugs, or anything else I have quite possibly the greatest alcohol rehab place for them. They nearly saved my life, and helped me get over my demons. Cliffside Malibu is a residential Alcohol Rehab Center located in Malibu north of Zuma Beach and actually overlooks the Pacific Ocean. They have plasma TV’s, wireless internet, and all the privacy you could ask for. I would imagine you are going to run into a few celebrities while you are there too. One of my favorite amenities is the heated lap pool. It’s really long and skinny and is perfect for that morning constitutional. Its 5 Star all the way too even down to the bathrooms in the resident rooms. If you have a Semi-Private room you have one roommate, but you have two bathrooms with hot tub style bathtubs. The gym is pretty much a miniature YMCA with lots of equipment, mirrors, and free weights. Its perfect for those who are addicted to working out I guess! All in all, I believe that Cliffside Malibu is probably the best place to rehab in the nation, quite possibly the world if you need Addiction Treatment.

First 5 Minutes of Dark Knight!

Think of it as a long trailer, a beautiful piece of work taken from probably a camera phone/handheld camcorder. Its good enough for me though. The first 5 minutes of this movie make me want to go see this movie very bad. I am excited to bring you this as it may help you decide whether or not you want to see it in theaters. I know that I was pondering whether or not I was going to see this right away, but after watching this part of the movie, you will be sure to probably see me at the theater sittin right next to you after you watch this.

Alright, so recently I have been having trouble getting posts out do to some personal matters with family. So I will be writing shorter posts with more movies to get out faster…that way I can update you on a regular basis. I know that there have been some people who have waged war against my blog due to its contents….I am not trying to profit off of others work. I am merely just trying to get the word out there.
