This movie has got to be the funniest rendition of World War II that I have ever seen in my life. Its about a special group of soldiers in the American military whose sole purpose in the war is executing high ranking officers in the Third Reich. Bratt Pitt stars in the funniest movie of the year so far. I have yet to see a few before the New Year comes in, but I am going to have to say this movie has been the funniest so far. You have to appreciate a funny movie about killing Nazi’s. Hey, and Hitler actually dies in this one…kind of overkill if you ask me, but they definitely take care of him. If you cannot handle gore, then this movie is not for you.

I would have to give this movie the award for being one of the funniest movies of 2009. I know its a Zombie movie and my girlfriend was definately not happy when we got out (she hates zombie movies with a passion but i told her it was a comedy lol), but this movie really made me laugh. You know how a lot of movies show the best parts in the trailer before you watch the movie? I dont think this movie had that problem. While the trailer was hilarious, most of its just the first part of the movie. I would say that this has to be a must find considering I found an R5 for you.

I have a warm and fuzzy spot for animation movies in my life. Its not rare for me to like an animated movie alot more than others, but it seems that the vote is pretty much unanimous. According to IMDB its the 60th best movie of all time. It has a 98 percent approval rating on RottenTomatoes. I really enjoyed watching it and the quality is just amazing. I think after watching this movie, I might post more of this quality because it was flawless.

Here is a synopsis: A young Carl Fredrickson meets a young adventure spirited girl named Ellie. They both dream of going to a Lost Land in South America. 70 years later, Ellie has died. Carl remembers the promise he made to her. Then, when he inadvertently hits a construction worker, he is forced to go to a retirement home. But before they can take him, he and his house fly away. However he has a stowaway aboard. An 8 year old boy named Russell, whose trying to get an assisting the elderly badge. Together, they embark in an adventure, where they encounter talking dogs, an evil villain and a rare bird named Kevin. -Garfield2710-

Another movie that I got excited about when it came out. I went and saw it in theaters and I have to admit that it was worth the money. If you can, I recommend you see this in theaters if you get a chance before you download it or buy the DVD. That being said, this movie didnt exactly recieve love on the internet from those who reviewed it. With just 30 percent approval rating on RottonTomatoes, I guess you could say that the overwhelming consensus is that the movie was a bust.

Surrogates (2009)

I have to admit that when I first heard this was coming out, I was more excited than I have been about most movies this year. It takes place in the future when the world is a totally different place. People have become dependent on machines. Humans are able to live their lives through a robot. While they lay in a chair, their robot (surrogate which is make to their liking) lives their life but fully controlled by the human. To me, it seems like the writers wanted to show everyone what life could be life if we keep spending all our time online. Anyways so surrogates end up getting murdered in the movie but the catch is that their users are dying also. Bruce Willis uses his surrogate for a while and then has to do it all by himself. Dealing with memories of the past, he sets out to conquer his fears and stop a murder. Its not exactly a chick flick but if you enjoyed I, Robot you will certainly enjoy this movie.

As we all know, Demonoid.com went down a few weeks ago and has not come back up since. There was just a basic message at first but now they have posted a new message for all users:

uTorrent – Gateway to Torrents

So I realize that if you have never downloaded torrent files, you have probably never figured out how to get the movies from the various sites that I link to. I have decided to hook you up with the program that will save your life. If you are downloading the movies without this program you are probably getting less than adequate speeds but with uTorrent, your downloads will be as fast as your internet will allow.

System Requirements? There basically are none if you ask me. Unless you are living in ths stoned ages, this will not be a problem. It works on everything from Windows 95 on a 486 to Windows Vista 64 bit. I am not sure about Windows 7 yet, but I am sure you can get it to work if you run it as administrator. If you have any problems with it you can either email me or go to their help forums. This is not just a windows program as it works with almost all forms of Linux, OSX (minus Darwine), and other operating systems.

Updating the Blog again!

I am sure that you have noticed a lot of changes to Fetchblog in the past few weeks. I have been out of town but have done some soul searching and have decided to stick with this theme for a while. I hope you get some enjoyment on the way that it is set up, because I will be adding things to the site from here. I do not think the physical look will change much over the next couple of years, but I will be slowly adding new ideas to the site. Some of the great ideas for the site have come from you guys. I really appreciate all the support I have been getting from the Blue Meep and others who have been there through the best of times and the worst of times. Keep up the great work guys.
